As the CMO of Meat N' Bone, I’m excited to share our journey—a story of innovation, passion, and relentless commitment to quality.
Our Humble Beginnings
Nearly six years ago, we started in the back of a friend's restaurant with a bold mission: to redefine the meat industry. We saw the $150 billion meat market not as a challenge, but an opportunity for disruption. The traditional butcher shop was fading, and grocery stores were taking over, but we knew there was a better way.
We founded Meat N' Bone on three core pillars: Product, Customer Service, and Convenience. By supporting farmers and fishermen who prioritize quality, we created a brand that consistently delivers the best protein. Though we aren’t farmers or butchers, we excel at logistics, bringing premium products directly to customers' hands. Our Midwest-sourced beef, known for its rich marbling and flavor, is a perfect example of this commitment.
Our goal was clear from day one: when you see the Meat N' Bone label, you know it stands for the highest quality.
The Power of a Brand
Building a brand isn’t just about selling products—it’s about creating a connection. At Meat N' Bone, we are building a brand unlike any other in our space. We’ve created a name that stands for transparency, quality, and trust. Our customers know that when they choose Meat N' Bone, they’re not just buying meat—they’re buying an experience that is deeply rooted in care, craftsmanship, and expertise.
Through consistent quality and exemplary customer service, we’ve built a loyal following that values not just the product but the story behind it. This connection sets us apart, turning first-time customers into lifelong advocates. Our brand extends beyond products, reflecting a passion for the art of butchery and a commitment to transforming how people experience food.
Impressive Growth and Metrics
Our journey has been marked by incredible growth, and customer feedback has driven our evolution every step of the way. We've grown to offer over 400 proteins, ship nationwide, and operate 4 boutiques. And we're just getting started.
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) at less than $25
- Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) of over $400
- Average Order Value (AOV) of $150
- Customer Retention Rate of Over 60%
- Net Promoter Score (NPS) 80
These numbers reflect not only our growth but also the strong loyalty we've built with our customers.
Technology as a Growth Driver
Technology has been central to our success at Meat N' Bone, allowing us to innovate and scale efficiently. We’ve integrated AI-powered solutions into our platform to enhance the customer experience. Our AI recommends personalized products based on individual preferences, suggests recipes, and helps customers find exactly what they’re looking for—whether it’s a specific cut of meat or a new culinary inspiration.
We’ve also optimized our logistics, enabling us to deliver products from our boutiques the day they open. Using advanced technology, we can offer same-day delivery within a 15-20 mile radius, ensuring that our customers receive their orders fresh and fast, no matter where they are located. With thousands of happening every day, our systems are built to handle demand efficiently, whether you’re shopping from Miami, New York, or LA.
Looking Ahead: Expansion and Innovation
As we continue to grow, our expansion plans are ambitious and exciting. We aim to open at least 5-6 new boutiques per year, provided we secure the necessary capital. This includes the launch of The Wagyu House, our new steakhouse in Hallandale Beach, Florida, which will also feature a Meat N' Bone boutique inside.
Additionally, our Michelin-starred Executive Chef will further elevate our product range, bringing world-class culinary experiences to our customers. We're also expanding our partnerships with brands like Estrella Damm, Santa Teresa Rum, and Sodexo, enhancing our reach and collaboration in the culinary space.
Expanding Beyond Meat: Sauces, Rubs, and Seasonings
We’re also excited about our expansion into the $30 billion sauce, rubs, and seasonings market. We've launched 8 finishing salts, a collection of premium sauces, and are about to introduce our exclusive line of rubs. This new product range allows us to broaden our impact on the culinary world and continue delivering high-quality options to customers beyond meat.
To make these products more accessible, we’ve also launched on Amazon, allowing customers across the country to experience the unique flavors and quality that Meat N' Bone is known for.
